We have been enjoying our topic, 'Amazing Animals'. We learnt about minibeast micro-habitats and went on a minibeast hunt in the forest school area to see if we could find them. We looked under logs, under stones and under the leaves on the trees. We have learnt that insects have six legs and three body parts; we had a closer look at the minibeasts in magnifying pots to see if we could spot the head, abdomen and thorax.
