For our Active Citizens in Year 2, we are raising money for the charity International Animal Rescue. They rescue threatened and endangered animals all over the world. We held a 'Cakes for Apes' cake sale at the end of term. We made our own orangutan cakes and Year 2 parents also very kindly donated cakes for us to sell. The cakes were amazing and we raised £167 for the charity. We were very pleased with how well we did and grateful to all those who supported us.
